How A $100 Bill Changes Lives
You’re at a Seahawks game. One person starts the wave, and it lasts through the TV timeout and then some.
You’re on Facebook, watching a viral video a friend shared. One person uploaded that video, and soon it’s seen by millions.
It just takes one person.
At United Way of King County, we see every day how that same concept applies to change in our community—one person is all it takes. The ripple effect takes care of the rest.
So, who will that one person be?
Meet The Change Makers, Then Join ‘Em
Change Makers with United Way are making a difference locally, right now.
How’s that happening? With people taking to heart and hands that change starts with you.
By giving $100 or more a month for a year, you’ll be a part of the change our community needs.

- An invitation to a special reception at the Eat, Drink & Be Generous event on Nov. 14.
- Exclusive invitations to briefings, tours and deep-dive learning sessions, where you’ll hear from experts and leave with tools you need to help make Seattle a better place.
