Conversations for Change: Keeping People Housed
Date and time
Virtual Via Zoom
Are you frustrated by our community’s homelessness problem but still care enough to learn if it can be solved? Join us for a real conversation to learn how you can be a part of the solution.
See you at Conversations for Change: Keeping People Housed, a FREE, interactive, lunchtime discussion with our special guest Michelle Merriweather, President and CEO at Urban League of Metropolitan Seattle, and Gordon McHenry, Jr., President and CEO of United Way of King County.
Together, we’ll learn more about what United Way and its partners across King County are doing to prevent homelessness before it even begins. You’ll leave with a deeper understanding of how community-driven solutions like housing stability support, eviction prevention, rental assistance, and advocating for tenants’ rights can keep families housed and contribute to progress.
It’ll take all of us coming together to make a dent in solving one of our community’s most critical crises, and your understanding and support through initiatives like Our Neighbor Fund can be a powerful part of the solution.
RSVP now to join the movement. United is the WayTM we lead change.
United Way is committed to making all our events as accessible as possible. When you register, you’ll have an opportunity to indicate any accommodations you need. Please note that at least two weeks’ notice is necessary to arrange some accessibility needs. If you have any questions, please reach out to eventregistration@uwkc.org.
