Community Volunteer Project: Si Se Puede!

Sep 28 10:00 AM-2:30 PM
Seattle Convention Center
900 Pine Street, Seattle, 98101
Craft flowers and organize auction items for El Centro De La Raza, a community organization rooted in the Latino community.

Join us in person on Saturday, September 28, 2024 for a community volunteer opportunity to support El Centro De La Raza as they prepare for their annual Building the Beloved Community Gala. You will get to take part in an exciting event that raises funds for 43 programs and services that benefit more than 20,000 individuals and families across our region. The evening will include live music, a reception, silent and live auctions, a three-course meal, and the presentation of our Roberto Maestas Legacy Awards and Scholarships!

Tasks will include: Decorating the dining room, helping set up the silent auction, set up the registration tables, and helping with the photo booth.

Let’s celebrate culture and fight toward equality as we help El Centro de la Raza prepare for another season of giving back to community.

This opportunity is hosted by young professionals and all are welcome! By participating you will receive similar opportunities emailed to you bimonthly. Each opportunity supports United Way of King County’s mission to create racially just communities where all people have homes, students graduate, and families are financially stable.
