United Way of King County Has Postponed the Community Resource Exchange
United Way of King County, following the recommendations from Seattle & King County Public Health regarding the spread of the Coronavirus-19, has postponed the Community Resource Exchange that was scheduled to take place on April 1 at CenturyLink Field.
Our first priority is the safety and wellbeing of our staff, volunteers and guests. According to Public Health guidelines, the best way to slow the spread of the virus is by “social distancing,” or reducing the number of people in close public contact. More than 1,500 people have attended past Community Resource Exchange events.
We sincerely apologize to all who were planning to attend the Community Resource Exchange, but we feel this is the best course of action to minimize the spread of COVID-19.
A new date for the event will be determined and will depend on the developments surrounding the outbreak.
