Day of Caring
September 12, 2008

Team Leader Registration >>

Microsoft-only Registration >>

Join thousands of your friends, neighbors and colleagues on Friday, September 12 for an all-county day of volunteering. It's a fun way to make a huge difference in just one day. Last year, more than 7,000 volunteers from nearly 120 companies came together to change our community for the better in one day.

Day of Caring is your chance to make a lasting impact in our community. Be a part of this fun day of community service by volunteering to improve local schools, nonprofits and parks in King County. Your group might build affordable housing, spruce up a day care center or repair a hiking trail.

How you can be a part of this special day:

  1. Put together a volunteer team from your company.
  2. Sign up here to be a team leader and choose your project. (Microsoft employees sign up here.)
  3. Have a great time volunteering on September 12!

Don't miss the Day of Caring Wrap Party!

WaMu Theater at Qwest Field
3:30 - 6:30 p.m.

When your volunteer project is finished, head over to the WaMu Theater for our Day of Caring Wrap Party where you can eat, drink and relax with your team after a hard day's work. Your Day of Caring t-shirt is your ticket into this exclusive event!

Enjoy:

  • Food to refuel after a great day of volunteering
  • Drinks on the house compliments of Pike Brewing Company* and Jones Soda
  • Live Music from hot local bands thanks to Grove Land Productions
  • Prizes galore including a cruise for two from Holland America
