If your combined household income was less than $50,000 last year, you qualify for free tax services at 17 locations throughout King County. Sites open on January 12th, 2010. Sites can prepare returns for 2008, 2007 or 2006 after March 1st, 2010.

Make sure to bring the following to your free tax service site:
- A photo ID
- A Social Security Card or Individual Taxpayer Identification Number (ITIN) documentation and birthdate for everyone in the household
- W-2s, 1099s, and all other tax-related documents
- A voided check or savings account statement with bank account numbers
- If you're Married Filing Jointly, you'll need to bring your spouse to sign your tax documents
- Last year's tax return, if you have one, as well as any additional items (such as mortgage statements) that you think may impact your tax return, even if you are not sure.
- If you paid for day care in the past year, bring evidence of payment, including the name, address and social security number or EIN of your day care provider
- Evidence of any education expenses, mortgage payments or property taxes you paid in 2009.
